"I am so bad at setting goals, I really need your book" - said by nearly everybody I showed this book idea to.
Traditional goal setting methods don't work for most people!

Learn how to tackle all of the obstacles that hold you back from achieving so much more in your life, and learn how to develop the skills you have and use everyday.
You plan ahead, tackle the small goals, schedule time frames, meet deadlines, put up reminders and display motivating images, overcome obstructions and seek mentorship from friends. You do all of the little actions that navigate you to the bigger goals – each day, each year, life.

You are a goal setter!

Goal achievement is the systematic performance of the required steps to reach a target, something you want.

Goal setting is often taught as a “mechanical” process that takes discipline and willpower.

I believe you need flexibility, tailoring the process to your personality, from defining the goal to working out the path and setting the timeframe, to adjusting for obstacles, setbacks and even failures.

This philosophy drives the methods in this book.

What people are saying

This book gives a different take on goal setting from the books I’ve seen so far. It brings in new ideas and examples, and covers many techniques that actually work for people setting goals. Many of these are techniques I use in skiing, and in life. - Mikaela Shiffrin, USA Reigning Olympic, World Cup, and World Champion Slalom Skier

Chris uses his own experiences and those of many others throughout the book to highlight his points. This brings them to life, makes them real and shows us how we can use them to improve our own lives. He also backs this up by quoting experts in a range of fields. - Pete Burdon, Media Trainer

I would like to recommend Chris Christoff’s book. An understandable, practical and highly readable book on goal setting and the actions that help us get there. Chris provides an ‘action plan’ summary at that end of each chapter. Use these summaries to focus on your day to day actions and you will be well on your way to achieving those goals. - Dr Pasquale Franzese , Fund Manager and Finance Professional

I was delighted to discover so many new and interesting approaches to achieving goals and I learned a great deal. It is an entertaining read, well researched with pertinent anecdotes. - Joanne Verikios, Entrepreneur, Horse Breeder, Trainer and Judge, Award-Winning Athlete

Very impressive – a great reference book for everyone – an easy read, informative and practical – I really like the ‘solutions-based’ approach – excellent.
- Paul Moni, Financial Services Consultant, Company Director, Board Chairman, Adjunct Professor

I worked with Chris rolling out some pretty ambitious time-critical IT projects a few years ago. It is very clear to me that he knows how to achieve, set goals and get results. - Scott Julian, Software Support Manager

Wow, Chris Christoff, I am only 35 pages in and already found 5 quotes I love and had a huge mindset shift about 'deserving' and goals. Great work my friend. Your book will change lives. - Marc Miles, Educator, Trainer, Speaker, Entrepreneur

This book is a must read. Chris’s book paves a clear path and helps you through that maze of pressure to have the life, relationships and health that you sometimes feel you don’t deserve at all. He clarifies any uncertainty and doubt. His simple techniques on setting goals and the steps to achieve them will change your life forever.
 - Coral Brian-Wheatley, Author, Investor, Property Developer, Mum, Share Trader

Wow, that was such an excellent read Chris, thank you so much for writing that book!

I was very pleased to discover it was about so much more than just goal setting. I had no idea how much other stuff sat in behind goal setting other than just my 'why';  eg beliefs, fears, RAS, creating the sub-goals, rewards, getting mentors on board.

I've actually gone back to the start to re-read it because there were so many important messages & distinctions. I think I was struggling to set goals because I couldn't clearly see the end result...then you mentioned 'discovery goals'! This was a  big one for me. Thanks for providing guidance towards addressing these issues, I now have much work to do!

WHY THESE TECHNIQUES ARE DIFFERENT

People are taught, if they are taught at all, about the S.M.A.R.T criteria for goal setting. For many these are limited and incomplete. The techniques in this book cover all of the preparation, goal setting, goal achievement and goal retention.

DESERVING

Removing guilt, taking responsibility, developing your expectation and finding your reason why - these are preparatory steps to goal setting.

PATH SETTING

The path is a sequence of mini-goals, as important for achievement as the final goal. This is where the work is done.

FEAR AND STRESS

Fear, stress and procrastination can all be managed to ensure you achieve the goals you set.

TIMEFRAMES

Do you set a timeframe for all goals? Sometimes you don't. Timeframes are also important for the path actions.

THINKUALIZING

Learn the art of Thinkualization - use all of your senses - sight, sound, taste, touch, smell, temperature and proprioception - to build the driving vision of your goal.

GOAL CONSTRUCTION

The wording of your goal embodies the end result  and timeframe, and the motivation to drive you..

YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS

Program your subconscious to guide, notice opportunities, and use your autopilot to drive your actions to success.

GOAL SHARING

There are times to share your goals with others, and circumstances where you should not.
